So very springlike today, you'd think the seasons stopped doing crack.

The news:
I moved to Georgia - briefly - because while living Deliverance was interesting, it seems that a little town in West Virginia owns my soul. Who'd a thunk? So I'm back in Shepherdstown, and I encourage you to visit. The coffee is incredible.

Future Plans:
It turns out that my portfolio was passable enough to land me in an MFA program for creative writing. As of September, I'll be based at Rutgers.

That's a good two years until wanderlust kicks in again and I return to Slavic studies.

Random:
Despite my current access to cable TV, I can't bring myself to watch the news (outside the Daily Show)
I read it, but I can't watch it.

...because Hell is full...

Ah, Rutgers. If you need someone to show you around the state, I live about 40 mins away right near the beach. :)

Congrats and good luck!

We should get together when I come home for a break next fall. My parent's place is only about half an hour from there.

Hey Jibbs,

I had almost forgotten about LJ... tracked you down here from Ealasaid's website... Please write me at kayt110 @ earthlink.net (without the spaces around the "@" of course), I want to talk to you. I'm in a state of flux right now... I have good friends - Red Elvises fans - in Charles Town, WV. There's a RE show in Allentown on June 16th I'm thinking of going to...and some North Carolina shows before then I'll be at...(and one in Arlington, VA I can't make it to). I'd would love to finally meet you somewhere. Congrats on your acceptance to the MFA at Rutgers, well done!!! --Kayt
